Who says that activist cannot form a group that can stand up for what they fight for? Who says that such thing is impossible? If there is anyone that believes on this, that person is totally mistaken with the founding of a new social networking site for social activist. But before we go further, let us try to define what an activist is and what makes a person a real activist. According to experience and observation of mine, an activist is someone that opposes a system driven by the belief that the entire system is wrong. In short, they deviate from the rules and regulations that are being implemented by a system or a government because they believe that such rules and regulations are wrong. That is also the thing that makes a person activist. The next question is do you see activists as good or bad? The answer for such query will depend on the situation.

In Activist Academy, activists are simple seen as active members of society that opposes wrong or bad systems. In my personal opinion, social activists are not that bad because they are just trying to express their side of things about certain rules or policies which they believe are wrong. They are just trying to show the public that they should not patronize following such policies because these are not right. They make a wake-up call for people. If you are a social activist, then you should not be ashamed of what you are doing especially that there is already a networking site for you and your group as well as your activity. In this academy, you will definitely learn a lot and meet many people that are also social activists just like you. It is about time that you establish yourselves to the public for as long as you are not doing wrong, you will be on the good side of things.
